Russian Cyborg Robot FEDOR That Can Shoot Guns

A number of experts have warned that artificial intelligence (AI) could lead to the end of humanity. And this robot built by the Russians wouldn’t help calm the already anxious critics. Created in 2014, FEDOR was initially aimed at replacing humans in high-risk conditions, including rescue work. However, as its abilities have expanded, its purpose has been augmented to include space exploration. The robot has recently been taught to dual-wield pistols, adding one more skill to its list. Russian deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin has shared videos of the android’s exercises on Twitter.
